Welcome to Lough Cutra Castle, we are located on the shores of Lough Cutra lake just 25 miles from Galway City and 28 miles from Shannon Airport, the entrance to the Estate is on the main Limerick to Galway road.

Fishing

The most significant geographical feature of the Estate is our 1000 acre lake. We offer exclusive fishing for Pike on the lake. At Lough Cutra we will ensure that there will be no other boat on the 1000 acres giving you the chance to fish anywhere on the lake. Shooting

Bewteen the months of November and February you can enjoy some Ireland's best driven pheasant shooting on the Lough Cutra Estate and among the best Irish hospitality at Lough Cutra Castle. History of Lough Cutra Castle

Lough Cutra Castle and Estate has a long and varied history. The countryside surrounding Lough Cutra contains much evidence of a history dating back to the Tuatha Da Danaans. Evidence of old churches, cells and monasteries are prolific in the area and a number of the islands on the lake.
